  • Remember, your capacity and your capability aren’t the same. Just because you have a free day doesn’t mean you need to stuff it with client work. Balance your plate and your future freelance self will thank you for it.

  • If you’re reaching the upper limits of your capacity or finding yourself with negative capacity, start looking for ways to delegate things off your plate or defer them to when you have more capacity (this is something I teach in the Full Plate Freelancer Masterclass)

  • If you’ve found yourself in the negative or bitten off more than you can chew, don’t beat yourself up about it! We have ALL been here, and it’s totally normal. The great thing is you now know you need to be more choosy on what lands on your plate and having a clear idea of your capacity is the literal first step!
